Micro$oft Laptop Bribe on Bloggers

I saw this while skimming on LXer. Well, what can I say. Micro$oft is up to its sleazy tactics again (I could say “standard operating procedure”… ). Micro$oft is clearly doing this to have a fragrant PR image for Window$ Vi$ta, which could be equivalent for a possible sell. But this blogger is not fooled. Come on, one needs powerful hardware (like that Acer Ferrari laptop being given away by Micro$uck) just to run Hasta la Vi$ta? Heck. Linux can run even on a low-end machine, no upright hardware upgrade needed. Only the unintelligible crowd would go Hasta la Vi$ta.  Also, time and again, Micro$uck make stupid software. To be exact: expensive, bloated, unoriginal and very poorly technically-designed  software. In other words, Micro$oft just loves to make money, and not great software.  Oh yeah, when you learn Micro$oft,  you only learn Micro$oft.  When you learn open source, you truly learn computing.

BadVista

Yeah, good to be back on the Blogosphere :D Anyway, FSF (Free Software Foundation) launched BadVista. BadVista is an informational campaign against Micro$oft’s forthcoming Window$ Vi$ta OS. Well, i’m glad that FSF is making some noise about the perils of Vi$ta. It’s a retaliatory move that I’m waiting to happen, since Micro$oft is known to employ various FUD (Free, Undermine, Deny) tactics against Linux and FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) in general. Yeah! it’s payback time, Micro$oft! :D
