Farewell Netscape…

It kind of broke my heart when I read the news that Netscape has reached its end of life. It was with Netscape Navigator that I discovered the whole new frontier called the World Wide Web. That was back in the day that I didn’t have my own PC, where my school is my primary access to the Internet. Back in the day where I was still (100%) under the clutches of the Evil Operating System from Redmond. It even saddens me that its death is the end product by the effort of Micro$oft’s Internet Explorer. But it seems all is not in vain. Even if Netscape was a casualty of battles with Micro$0ft, one of the its scion, Mozilla Firefox is gaining grounds in the at the expense of the “the most horrible web browser in the world”, slowly but surely, painfully… Still, to me, it’s an end of an era. I will always reminisce the old days with Netscape… Farewell old friend, you will always be remembered…
